film campus innsbruck
training. exchange. networking.
Film Campus Innsbruck gives young filmmakers (20 to 35 years) the opportunity to acquire new knowledge, develop ideas, get feedback and create synergies during three days of masterclasses, workshops and talks. Embedded in two film festivals in Innsbruck (DIAMETRALE & IFFI – International Film Festival Innsbruck), the Campus also invites you to immerse yourself in extraordinary film worlds and celebrate cinema as a social place.
partner film festivals
DIAMETRALE Film Festival has the focus on experimental and humoristic/absurd movies. Under the label “useless and beautiful” the festival presents various short film programs (competition, b-sides, sex positive), handpicked feature films and virtual reality sessions.
At IFFI we show films from regions and on topics that are underrepresented in global cinema networks. For six days, IFFI celebrates film as a global phenomenon in all its facets. In addition to new exciting and innovative films in the competitions, we show film-historical treasures in the retrospectives.
